Based in Minneapolis, Vance Holmes is an artist working in many directions at once: theatre, music, writing, teaching, and the spaces where they blur together. What you’ll find here is a map of that work. Some of it is finished, some still taking shape, and all of it is connected by a lifelong fascination with storytelling, performance, and education.

After graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre, Holmes earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing for the Theatre from the University of Minnesota. He is currently freelancing and teaching in the Twin Cities, having obtained a Master of Science in Urban Education and a teaching licensure in Communication Arts and Literature through the Metropolitan State University - School of Urban Education.
