Welcome to Planet RabbitHead...

and the haunted wasteland of aliens, mail-order bribes, and sightings of unidentified lying objects -- the Area 51 of homicide which has inspired much poetry, including this passage from prosecutor, Paul Spiers:

"And it began in early September -- early September, when the mornings are spread out forever against the sky in deep blue, like a blanket or membrane or a tissue -- and the sunsets rosy-fingered and golden -- on a morning like this, on the 9th of September 1999, a young woman got up alone and rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and prepared herself for work at the bank."

"The case changed in complexion, and in changing in complexion it darkened, and in the darkening it became a case of kidnapping -- it became a case of murder, and that's what you're here for, and what you're gonna be listening to and arriving at a verdict on -- in this trial."

"This was not a murder by chance. This was not by someone who was psychotic at the time. This was a cold, calculative murder."
-- Hossencofft, now serving a life sentence plus 60 years and 364 days in a Wyoming prison for his wife's death.

Linda Henning who had already been in the county jail for three years at the time of trial, was charged with 20 counts, including murder and kidnapping.

A jury convicted Henning, at 49-years-old, of first-degree murder, kidnapping and other charges.

"I expect the judge to give me 87 years, 100 years or 500 years. I expect the judge to just continue to do what he's been doing to me."

Henning, a fashion designer, was sentenced to 73 and a half years and will be eligible for parole around 2030.

Transcript from Henning's trial...

PAUL SPIERS: Mr. Wilkin, you were just about to tell us what Miss Henning said about -- you know, about their love-making?

RON WILKIN: That's correct.

PAUL SPIERS: I'm not interested in any positions or anything like that, but how would she describe it?

RON WILKIN: Um… She made reference to where there was a very high amount of energy, enough to where they would each transform into cat-like people or like a lion-type of an individual, and she went so far as to lift her lip to show me where the fangs would grow out of her mouth.

LINDA HENNING had 6 cats.

Henning claimed she ate victim's flesh

New Mexico prosecutors say fashion designer Linda Henning told at least four people that she ate the flesh of Girly Chew Hossencofft and drank her blood.

"During the course of the case's investigation, it was reported by more than one individual that the defendant had made statements that she had actually consumed the flesh of Girly Chew Hossencofft and that as a consequence her remains and body would never be recovered by authorities."
-- Paul Spiers in a memorandum

"We took the position that we would attempt to keep the trial as simple as possible and would avoid as much sensationalism as possible. It really didn't go to the actual murder itself."
-- Spiers on why he never mentioned cannibalism during Henning's trial

"It is just my thinking and it's based on the case. I don't think they ate the entire body."
-- Spiers

"In a word, it's nonsense. There is no evidence of that. It comes from the mind of the prosecutor, and his imagination. He's obsessed with this case. He ought to consider some counseling for it."
-- Mitchell

"From our perspective, she is a terrible rehabilitation candidate."
-- Spiers

Henning met Hossencofft at a seminar led by David Icke, who believes that Hillary Clinton among others, is an alien reptile that can change form at will.

Henning was proud of the tragedies that seemed to befall people who got involved in this case: An attorney for D. Hossencofft died of cancer, a D.A.'s husband died of a mysterious disease.

Henning was pleased that she was able to manipulate the universe.

Victoria's Secret

Apparently, Ms. Henning at one time modeled underwear for Fredericks of Hollywood.

There were 17 tubes of blood in Hossencofft's home.

or

Cat Got Your DNA?

Forensics expert, Donna Arbogast, testified in Linda Henning's "Desert Queen Vampire Revenge Trial," that she had found a great deal of forensic trace evidence in Girly Chew's apartment, all of which points directly at Henning.

Among the damaging items found were several cat hairs.

Although both Diazien Hossencofft and Bill Miller both had cats, those cats were quickly ruled out when the DNA in the cat hair turned out to be a perfect match for the DNA of Linda Henning.

Hossencofft's son is named Dimitri. It is not clear if the child is actually related by blood to him at all. Hossencofft claimed to have created his son in a test tube. Testimony indicated the boy was the result of an affair with a Japanese woman in Canada. The boy was later adopted, about nine days before Girly Hossencofft's death.

"So they make the choice; they took my son from me. And I make the choice to take her life. It's as simple as that."
-- Hossencofft

"She said that she had been appointed 'Queen of the World', and that her responsibility was to save the world from other queens coming from other planets."

-- Henning's friend, Mary Alice Thomas

Prosecutors pointed to many of Hossencofft's jailhouse letters calling Henning his "Love Kitten."

"I will do anything to set you free. Anything at all."

West of Magdalena,
East of Lorazepam

In the oppressive courtroom atmosphere
too heavy to raise even a brow,
A man cannot raise a reasonable doubt
about who killed who, and how.

It's so hard to explain,
in the harsh light of day,
that art sand and glitter
stole my kitten away.

And nobody wants to hear now,
of the perfectly innocent option;
Or acknowledge the true time and date,
of my test tube baby's adoption.

Who in their right mind in that courthouse,
Suggests the woman I adored,
Believed Girly was an alien queen,
who should die by a ninja sword?

She may have worshipped acorns,
and danced naked from time to time,
But that doesn't make her crazy,
Or guilty of this crime.

In the abduction of Girly Chew's body,
Blame the aliens that eagerly took part;
But leave Linda Henning alone -- she's
the queen of this reptile's warm heart.

A difficult task
in the harsh light of day,
to explain when you ask,
"Why plant her DNA?"

But nobody wants to know now,
of the militia-minded, predator killer,
the menacing, malignant murderer,
Mental midget, Mr. Bill Miller.

Who all in all Albuquerque,
Truly thinks my pretty kitty love,
Would kill for a chance with the aliens,
to rule from a planet above?

She may have worshipped reptiles,
And danced naked from town to town,
But that doesn't make her guilty
And Girly's body has never been found.

Hossencofft was born Armand Chavez on March 5, 1965, in Houston. He legally changed his name from Chavez in 1992.

Hossencofft claimed he was thoracic surgeon and that he had degrees from the University of Tokyo and Cornell Medical School, and had worked with the National Institute of Genetic Research and the authoring numerous scientific papers. By Sept. 9, 1999, he was engaged to three known women: McGuire, Culp of South Carolina and Henning. He was still legally married to Girly Chew Hossencofft.

Hossencofft would not explain why he collected blood from different people.
"Let's just say it's for scientific research."

Heiress Joy Hinson-Rider paid Hossencofft hundreds of thousands of dollars for treating her breast cancer.

Julie McGuire paid him $2,500 an injection for a so-called "Youth Serum."

Cheryl Culp was also duped out of money.

"I mean, she may, you know, want to stand up on the table here and, you know, naked and worship acorns, but that doesn't make you crazy."

The Twin Tarp Conspiracy

A 2,000-year-old reptilian alien

Diazien claimed to be a scientist for the CIA, a doctor with a youth serum, and a dying man.

Diazien explained that the DNA left on the ninja sword was an ancient Japanese custom -- a kind of ceremonial parting gift.

"So me being a witness is no good. No one's going to believe me."
-- Armand "Diazien" Chavez

Let down the Bars, Oh Death
by Emily Dickinson

Let down the Bars, Oh Death --
The tired Flocks come in
Whose bleating ceases to repeat
Whose wandering is done --
Thine is the stillest night
Thine the securest Fold
Too near Thou art for seeking Thee
Too tender, to be told.

12:30 a.m.: Henning says she and Hossencofft have sex at her home at 9 La Villita Drive N.E.

Hossencofft called Bill Miller both an "idiot" and a "militia-minded man." with predator qualities.
"He was zee last ingredient."

Hossencofft told Linda Henning (and many others) that he had leukemia and would soon die. Don't tease us Armand!

Hossencofft explained that he drew Henning's blood without her knowledge, drugging her with a heavy dose of Lorazepam, a medication he says he took for anxiety.

The tarp used in the murder picked up glitter, art sand and cat hair found on Henning's garage floor.

=====================

What Diazien says:

1. HENNING had no knowledge of the murder
2. HENNING was an unknowing alibi
3. BILL MILLER entered the apartment
4. He planted HENNING'S blood
5. He purchased the tarp found in the desert

====================

Dianzien told an adoption agency that all of the information about his son was contained on 5 gold CDs.

Psychotic

delusional, hallucinating, disturbance of reality, faulty belief systems

Hossencofft wears a particular kind of grin. Eric Burns calls it, "the Gallows Smile":
"… the gallows smile of a prophet of doom perversely consoled by his own infallibility"

?

Impotently Furious Reptile

The garden's become a dry desert of guilt,
Linda's love for the devil is all that won't wilt;
Bill has a big stick, but he's walking so soft,
She shakes and she aches for the snake, Hossencofft.

Then Girly with child, who never gave birth;
In an immaculate deception, vanishes from earth.
And Diazien, forever at Linda's feet is unfurled;
The demon at the heel of the Queen of the World.
